sePteMber-OctoBeR 2009

Colby & I have stayed busy these last 2 months...let's see... First Colby had his 24th birthday sept. 24! I made him a john deer tractor cake and gave him $200 as a surprise. Let me explain-since we are on a tight budget, the birthday money came from secretly working as a waitress and saving up my tips! He had NO idea so it was amazing! His parents also surprised him with tickets for us and our friends to a 49ers game in San Francisco in December & he FREAKED out!! The rest of us are excited as well :)

September 28 was our 2 year anniversary!!! Colby got me perfume that I love and used to put on all his letters when he was on his mission! haha

On another note...i have been working as a manager at the Marriot for the past 6 months. I decided to no longer further my employment there for various reasons i won't get into!! Although it was kinda sad to leave all my banquet servers and co-workers, I knew I'd be much happier finding something else.

To all the memories-

we also celebrated Josh's bday at Tepanyaki Grill in St. George. In the middle of the night, we put on scrubs went under a bridge in the middle of a golf course with a mass amount of glowsticks, broke them, and threw them ALL over us and under the bridge! it was a blast! Then we ran through the golf course like little kids ducking at every car that passed! It was so much fun! Happy Birthday Josh!

Halloween can still be fun even if your not a kid anymore!!! Colby and I went down to salt lake to meet Team Campos for a Jazz Game on Halloween Eve. The next day all four of us headed back up to Logan. Our friends came over for a halloween dinner that we made. After, we all went into the hot tub but it was FREEEEEZING so jenn sarah and i ran up and got in my bath tub to get warm. The boys came in and threw cold water on us so while they went into the other tub to get warm...we snuck in and threw flour into the shower!! it was so funny. After the girls won the war, we ended the night at the haunted corn maze.

Yes-Jenn and I are pretty ballerinas!

Moving AGAIN?

Okay so those of you who know us know that we have moved a TON since we got married. As much as I hate moving... we have lived in a town home in Logan for 7 months now and decided to decrease all our bills in half by moving to a 2 bed apartment. We made the move last weekend into a little city called Providence. Our apartment is on the third floor and right on the mountains so the view isn't half bad. Here are just a few pictures of our apartment that we will be living in until we can move back to real life-vegas or california! :)

Anderson Update

It has been so long since we updated our blog, I apologize! I had my 23rd birthday April 6 up in Logan and Colb made it a wonderful thoughtful experience filled with sushi, massages, tanning and movies! Colby and I went on another one of his work roadtrips to phoenix AZ. I enjoy every opportunity I get to spend with him, we just can have so much fun driving, doing nothing and being spontaneous! Plus, at this time I still didn't have a job so I didn't want to be home alone! :) We stayed at the Marriott on the top level that had its own concierge lounge...haha, it was sweet. On our way home, we stopped to see the infamous Hoover Dam that was still in process of building a massive bridge over the whole thing. It was so awesome to see it at night with all the lights glowing. Since Winter has FINALLY passed, we found beautiful hiking trails and places to dutch oven and picnic! I told Colby that the LITTLE time we are going to be living in Logan, we might as well live it up and explore. :)

Vegas baby!

It has been super cold in Logan so we were excited to go down to visit our family in hot vegas! This past week we got to hang out with the family, spent time with our friends, laid out in the hot sun (i got sun-burnt!), and played a family tradition game called the "egg crack" which colby won. when we went back to utah, we left our sweet cat down in vegas. I am so sad about it, but she will be so much happier to be able to run around outside in a huge backyard instead of an apartment. You can tell my dog is even sad because they used to play all the time. :(

Logan City Utah

Colby and I can't live in one state too long it seems! We made the move to Logan Utah about a month ago. Colby got a great job offer that we couldn't pass up so instead of buying a home in Vegas, we are now renting a townhome in one of the coldest cities in the US! One thing we have enjoyed so far is having a first white christmas. I got the best Christmas present from colby-a puppy! We picked it out together. It's a girl mini yorkie named Harlow. She is super sweet and already is potty trained and knows how to sit and stay. It's like we have two children now with her and our cat saydee, they need sooo much attention! I also sold my Mustang and we got a black 2003 Audi A4. I absolutely am in LOVE with it. So Colby didn't have anything to drive so he just bought a 2001 white Denali. They are great in the snow-4 wheel drive and I'm fine! And to start the New Year great, my mother came to visit us in Logan. It was so nice to show her where we live, and she drove for the first time in the snow! I was laughing soooo hard the way she pumped the brakes! I love her.

Who Ya Gunna Call...Ghostbusters!

Since we've been back home in vegas, four of our Best Friends got married! Congrats Darren & Whitnee and Josh & Jenn, We LOVE You!

For the Josh and Jenn's Wedding, we bought these outrageously huge sparklers for when they left the reception.

...And we had a rOCkiN party in the limo to end a great night!

Later that week, we all went to the Knights at the Round Table, it was fabulous! We banged on the tables, sang songs, ate dinner with our hands and rooted for our knight to win the battles!

HALLOWEEN 08 : I Ain't Fraid-A No Ghost!
The whole family dressed up as Ghostbusters! Carolee and I worked on the costumes and decorations for 2 whole days. We painted and glued on the logos to our jumpsuits and motorhome, put up ghost lights on the motorhome, and had vacuums made of tinfoil and hose! I even had to sew in my jumpsuit cause it was made for a person 10 times bigger than me! We looked just like them when we finished!

Chicago

About a week ago, Colby and I made the decision to move to Chicago for the rest of APX's selling season. On our way there, I undeservingly got my first speeding ticket. Next, we finally arrive in Chicago 5 hours later but can't get a hold of anyone to give us our apartment keys for another 4 hours!! We literally sat in our car because everything was closed! Then, we finally go to our apartment-it was so disgusting. The place smelled like smoke, there was mold in the shower, the toilet wasnt flushed, and black stains were on every inch of the carpet! Seriously, I wouldn't make even my worst enemy live there! So, my sweet husband starting cleaning this place with bleach because he felt so bad but I couldn't stand it any longer that I had an emotional breakdown! Finally, Colby made a call and we luckily were able to move into another apartment the next day and stayed in a hotel suite that night!Besides that whole escapade, we have LOVED it here! Parker and Brittany came down also so we all went to downtown Chicago. One of my wishes came true- we got tickets to Broadway's Wicked!! It was so amazing, even Colby liked it! After the show, we explored visiting the fun navy pier, walking the magnificent mile, taking a taxi and eating a famous deep dish pizza!
